Further to this series, the Bass edition really pushes your system. I bought it because I happen to have a lot of bass potential that rarely gets used in my preferred music genres and it reminded me what was there. Also had me crawling about the floor like a nutter moving things around, but that’s a different anecdote.

The vocals of first song on it is by an (as yet) unknown young lady that seriously impressed me.

It certainly put me in the mood for some hot cacao…no marshmallows, thanks.

Good company for a swift walk through Royston. It helped me walk there faster and beat the rain

That is very good album and I really wait for seeing Rivers Of Nihil live next week with Lorna Shore and Ingested.

I have the Bass one. I have posted it before in one of the threads, checked through the bass thread and it was not in there so must have just been one of these threads months ago.

I think an interesting read about the importance of Fairport and Liege & Lief for “Englishness”

inevitable…

this is a very special album for me and I’m glad I found it again several years ago. Around 72/73 my brother and I were discovering music as 16/15 year olds. Sandy and all the bands around here, English and Dutch folk in general, were a big part of that discovery. We must have played this album till the grooves were flattened…
So hearing this songs brings me back to those endless days of enjoying and discovering music…
