My first album of his was a love supreme. We were living on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh then. Not far from the castle.
My linn sondek and meridian 3 box amp system usually had friends round to groove and jive. A mate brought round a love supreme. I went straight down to the excellent jazz section at Virgin records on Princess street and bought it.
The same happened with a few albums that jive bunnies and kangaroos brought round.
I just love jazz.

for me the basement is the same as for you is the charity, but I‘ve paid 40-50 years ago……maybe lots more as you pay now😀

Was also happy to pick up this original Beatles sheet music for £4, from an emporium in Halifax.
Guilty pleasures from my teenage years.
I forgot I even had this and I bet this hasn’t been spun since about 1987.
