She’s done works under a lot of names Jon Brooks now Cate Brooks , she’s worked as Pattern Forms with Ed McFarlane from Friendly Fires, radiophonic workshop style stuff as Advisory Circle and first recorded as the King of Woolworths. She’s produced stuff for a lot of acts as well. She got to know Pete and Bob through her music and they hit it off as they shared a lot of love for same stuff. Very different musically though.
Another great band from Finland.

Not feeling at my best today but that’s not unusual for me. I just get on with it. Even so I fancy some cool relaxing music and I’ve headed down the vibe route
Vibes just have that comforting feel. The weather is dreadful here and vibes elevate.
Bobby Hutcherson cried out to me. Oblique is such a great album.
My joy is weaving it’s magic right now. The title made my think of Mr Joy by Affinity. The brilliant Linda Hoyle is on vocals. I’m sure that many will remember that she was married to Pete King. A legend.
I was fortunate to see Pete King with Stan Tracy and Art Theman. Now that’s a great memory with a story for another time
Music just leads you to so many places doesn’t it. That’s why it’s so wonderful.
