I loved those tracks and actually own them as singles as well.
But there was always a few that I cannot remember now, as I only remember the ones I liked

Excellent stuff from Nashville
Listen to Amphion Argon 1 or 3s if you can. Not seen a single bad word for any of the Argon range tbh. They are on my listen to list for next year. Buy you need an amp. I would avoid actives myself too much trouble when they break and Kefs seem to be prone to issues from what I have read.
I want to like actives, but I read of too many reliability issues, especially with KEF and at that price point.
The Dynaudio do have a much better warranty, but I tried the smaller floor standers (the 30’s) and they were pretty good. Just not as good sounding as the passives that I tried as well (being able to pick your own amp)
(Warning neither could cope with Ozzie or Black Sabbath compressed recordings very well though sounded great with well recorded material. It could have been room related but my Spendors coped with all music)
And music too
Don’t the dynaudios have a breakout box anyway so you still need that somewhere. They all need two lots of power cables, cables in to main speaker for the kefs, cable to interconnect them for 96/24 so it’s not as if it saves on the cable mess.
One of my favourite Clientele tracks.
Otherwise known as cable hell
Definitely to much mess if you have HDMI, CD etc
Everything convenient comes with compromises. I am navigating back to full separates you can just pick the best bits that work for you and have more of an upgrade path of required. If I had not bought my 40n I would know have gone for the model 50 and and Cd50n instead.
Well I think that the pain will be real in that case
It interesting that all the photos you see are without cables. Darko has done a good job pointing out what they look like with a few cables in and cable mabaged stands become pretty important
That’s talking about streaming actives of course and not pure active speakers
Oh wow Mr
Concur. I bought the SACD30N with full intention of saving up more pennies and adding the M30. Three years on and I’ve not yet found a reason to follow through. I don’t need the inputs or the amp and the 30N (surprisingly) hits the “good enough” point for me.
I feel like I got a bit lucky there.
I’m sure you would have to upgrade to the R9
Late to the party. I have now! 1 to about 50. Up to 30 most are vinyl, given to me by some past ‘teeny bopper’
Ha ha of course we believe you
