This was a band that I always wanted to be something different - based on this album that I loved. Alas, this album was really just a one off in terms of their style. This album came out at a time when the metal/rap thing I don’t recall being in full swing. Truth n Soul by Fishbone was out some 5 years earlier…hmmm maybe they were jumping on the ‘metal’/rock/funk scene. On the back of this release I bought their prior album & follow up release hoping for more funky vibes - it wasn’t to be and they broke up I think.
