I’d forgotten about this album. I really enjoyed it earlier in the year.
I prefer a physical copy and always check Discogs, Bandcamp, and Amazon third partly sellers for older releases, and only then digital if it is the cheaper option, e.g., Bandcamp, Qobuz Sublime.
I was going through my focus for my most played albums of the year to get my favourites and realised that live and compilation albums were excluded and a couple popped up that needed a listen ![]()
It’s funny how often something like that happens ![]()
I’ll give it a play later today, now that our guests have gone, and our home is functioning within normal operating parameters again.
Not really an album for most significant others or guests I feel ![]()
Though my son sat down and enjoyed some of it with me.
Rearranging my music library a bit. My music library is located on a NAS and mounted via NFS on the Roon server. Now I’ve added cachefilesd. Additionally I added minidlna to my server. This gives me the possibility to play my local digital music on the Auralic Aries without Internet connectivity.
There are two other devices in the room, which works without Internet connection too. Recordplayer? CD Player?

I’ll probably pass on Sublime next time I renew. Whilst I’ll more than recoup the addition £50.00, I’m not seeing as many discounts as I’d hoped. For the most part, only hi-res is discounted, which means a lot of CD quality music is better value elsewhere.
Hawkwind S/T debut. One of my favourite Hawkwind albums. Their early work is so good. The debut sees them really experimenting and jamming away.
A great band that just keep on going. Their last two albums are essential. Last years The Future Never Waits is one of the best albums of the year.
I believe another album is on the way.
I haven’t seen them for 40 years or so. They are playing near me again this year but its going to be another quagmire. Last year they were across the valley from me and as expected everyone was knee deep in mud with cars and trailers having to be rescued by local farmers and their tractors.
Ive outgrown that mess.
Can’t decide if it pays off or makes me spend more money than I otherwise would. But I do have a positive view of it and I recently renewed so ![]()
Joe’s really is one of the best.
Only failed to make my best of because I don’t normally include live albums ![]()
They tend to be on new releases and in the big sales where you can save £100 on one basket.
A complete change of pace and style now with Innervisions.
Wow what an album.
Are Stevies run of three as important and good as the stones run of four?
I’d say yes They are.
Innervisions is just unbelievably good. So much class and style on one album.
Awe inspiring stuff.
I’ve really had to crank it up for living in the city. I’m tired today otherwise I’d be stomping around the house to this wonderful piece of footstomping headbanging gem
I’m. Moving styles today to say the least.
No more heroes is on now. The stranglers were a class act and could play.
It’s no surprise to know that Dave Greenfield started on the vox continental. That inimitable Ray Manzarek style is imprinted all over the stranglers early work.
No more heroes is a classic from start to finish
No rest for the wicked… again.
On the way to Greensboro NC for the week.
At least Arc is still good for me ![]()
I did extend my sublime subscription. Maybe it does not pay off, but normally I buy music for 200 CHF/€ a month. All possible sources. At the end of the year it does not matter. I spend too much money anyway.
Really enjoying this on @Barry_Scotton
Second listen in the last couple of days
