Enabling IPv6 probably won’t break Linn streaming but it sure isn’t going to help. It should probably be off for anyone who doesn’t know precisely what they’re doing. Same goes for STP, but that’s less likely to cause problems and might actually help someone who miswires their network (or has more redundancy built into their network than almost all of us home users).
I have other reasons to have IPv6 on, separate from Roon & Linn. As for STP: in this location, I have to use MoCA transceivers on existing coax, which seems to form “loops” because coax is a broadcast, not a point-to-point, medium.
