Live Radio Error: All Dutch Public Broadcast Radio Stations procude errors in Roon

All stations of the Dutch Public Broadcast Radio (NPO1 (https://www.nporadio1.nl/), NPO2 and NPO3, and others), are not starting, or randomly stop playing (sometimes after a few seconds, sometimes after some minutes) and produce the error message

The stations have been playing correctly for various years through Roon. A direct stream (outside Roon) works perfectly. I would be very pleased to have access again to this set of stations via Roon.

Tried NPO 1 to 5 here (Enschede, Ziggo) - working fine as usual. I suspect the problem is not with NPO but with your setup…

Thanks Paul, I am at Ziggo / (Utrecht) as well, and the issue seems to be focused at NPO stations, other stations work fine e.g. Radio Paradise etc etc. As far as I am aware, my setup is default, nothing special. I sincerely puzzled by this. Live Radio shows for NPO1 https://nporadio1.nl, which works outside Roon perfectly.

I’ve just played NPO 1 2 and 3 without problems.

Has something changed in your setup?
What about other, non NPO, stations?

Just to check the usual… Have you rebooted everything?

Dear Brian, thanks, I regularly reboot, however I now rebooted the full network environment. That seems to have done the trick (the Ziggo modem, router and switches). NPO1 is now playing for 40 minutes without interruptions. It seems that the issue is resolved, I’ll keep fingers crossed. Many thanks.

Excellent news.
(may have been a DNS glitch in your cache?)

I suspect that the Ziggo modem is the issue, Ziggo often does maintenance in the network and there is no automatic reboot of the modem.
