Two questions regarding meta data: Do I need a dedicated software to edit local metadata? How can I prefer a local album from a Qobuz album?

Yes. Roon promises to never touch your files in any way. Lots of recommendations in other forum threads - are you on Mac or Windows?

Not a Mac user myself, but Yate gets a lot of love from forum members.

As @Brian_Resch said, Yate is liked by many Mac users. It’s powerful but I guess might need some time to become familiar with it.
mp3tag is common, too.
SongKong is very automated and has a Roon mode. There’s also Jaikoz from the same developer, which is more usual with many manual options. The developer of both is here on the forum.

I use a combination of Yate and Tag Editor. Tag Editor’s user interface is quite approachable for bulk copy/paste edits, whereas Yate allows for more sophisticated edits should you need them.
