Lumin Firmware 8.02 fixes this problem by having Lumin stop Roon playback if you adjust the Lumin resampling. This way, when you resume playback from Roon the playback will be re-established and resampling will take effect.
You could also compare it with Roon’s built-in own DSP engine for resampling, but beware of Roon’s default gain settings:
