Lumin U2 Mini vs Primare NP5

Hello everyone, just wondering if anyone here has upgraded from the Primare NP5 streamer to the Lumin U2 Mini, or has experience of listening to both?

I have the NP5 with the MCRU LPS, and while I’m very happy with the sound, the NP5 is the cheapest component in my setup and I’ve got the upgrade itch :smiley:

Interested to hear opinions of what the Lumin U2 Mini would give me over the NP5.

The rest of my system is Primare Pre 32/34.2 power amp, Chord Qutest, ATC SCM19s, SVS 3000 micro subs.

Just in case someone has this question in the future, I went ahead with the purchase of the Lumin U2 Mini.

WOW - I was sceptical of how much it would improve my system, but it has blown me away. The soundstage has opened up and the overall presentation is tighter, punchier, more focused and more accurate. Bass notes have a lovely texture and vocals really soar. Midrange is where the ATC SCM19s really shine and now they have such impact and crunch.
