What is the best way roon app can show current song lyrics if available and if possible to show current line? I don’t have apple devices. If needed will buy. I am good with windows or android tablet as well. Appreciate list of options as best as possible.
On windows, it does not even change popup to new title to show lyrics.
Apple, Windows, or Android doesn’t matter, it’s the same everywhere.
On phones, you can only click the three-dot menu of a track and then View Lyrics. This does not use real-time lyrics even if they exist but the usual poem-like format.
On PC or tablet, click the Now Playing bar at the bottom. This opens the Now Playing screen that shows artist, art, credits, bio, and lyrics. The lyrics are real-time if available. The order of the info screens (and which one appears first by default) is configurable. In my case, I have lyrics by default; you can change the order by clicking the cog wheel top right:
