Yes, in this arena, use with Roon could be presumed but your posted statements about the 205 were kind of unconstrained. No telling who might read them and presume too much.

As one might infer from my equipment lineup, I am indeed interested in multi-channel playback of those SACDs so enabled. Hence my ITU-R BS.775 compliant loudspeaker array. It looks like I’ll need to treat those rips as exceptions to an otherwise Roon-centric experience. Oh well, not ideal but manageable.
Both diff and dsf can be compressed using wavepack 5.x
