Description of Issue

I have multiple WAN providers and want to serve my ARC on a specific one. To complete this I need to be able to manually configure the IP (IPv4) address used (advertised IP). The system will never be able to ‘detect’ my external IP address due to the design of my network.

This is similar to the provided setting for port number.

Thank you.

Welcome to the Roon community, @Don_Betts.

Roon ARC needs the public IP address to communicate with your core. If you can’t set this up with port forwarding to your private network, then your options are limited.

What you have described is atypical, and is unlikely to be a supported configuration. The following post may assist you.
