Using the Meridian MC200 as an audio endpoint for Roon, I’ve experienced much stuttering in the audio when playing hi-res files above 44.1kHz, almost as if it hasn’t detected that the file itself is Hi-res and just plays it as regular CD quality. I’ve attempted to recreate the problem on an MS200 to see if it was a bug with the Sooloos endpoint support, but it plays the files just fine.
Using the forced upsampling on the MC200 creates the same problem, and it outputs stuttering sound on both the coaxial output as well as the speakerlink output.
Does anyone know what could be causing this?
