I was just wondering what the Roon logo signified.
My take is that the right half of the circle represents the audio waveform (as reflected by the waveform seekbar at the bottom of the Roon window). The circle itself represents the o’s in Roon. Just wondered if there’s any more to it.
It looks to me as the new Devialet Phantom speaker ;=)
The color of the logo and the background color could be more beautiful when change from light black to deep black

@extracampine I’ll let @brian2 confirm, because he did the logo, but I believe you nailed it. This logo was the cause of much agony for many months. I’d like to forget that time.
@extracampine, you’re more or less correct. I wanted something that looked vaguely music-ish without being too on the nose. Also, having something bold that can stand on its own but also is reminiscent of the Roon typeface was a big goal. I think I came up with this final design at about 3AM the night before we absolutely needed a logo after coming up with hundreds of other logos and variations over the course of a a few months.
