Metadata timelag

This is more of a FYI, but it’s pretty silly that big labels like DGG (Hélène Grimaud’s “Memory”) and even mid-sized labels like Mack Avenue (Christian Sands’s “Facing Dragons”) release digital albums on the usual download channels for the US (in this case ProStudioMasters) but the relevant metadata hasn’t yet filtered into Roon. It’s not as if the labels did not already know the metadata months before release. I can understand this for very small independent labels, especially some not-so-small on Bandcamp (Sunnyside, Pi Recordings, …) but really, labels, what’s so hard about feeding the metadata you already supply to streaming sites to standard metadata repositories?
