Found this single on Bandcamp and Qobuz… two solid tracks released three years before their debut album which was release in october 2024.

I have to update the list by adding 3 albums that were left out due to the few listens made but that I recovered during the Christmas holidays.
P.s. Now following all the potentially interesting releases dedicating the right amount of listening time is increasingly difficult…
Mother of Graves - The Periapt Of Absence
Counting Hours - The Wishing Tomb
The Vision Bleak - Weird Tales
Just wanted to drop this playlist for you metalheads. Made to be a workout playlist but you can enjoy it at any time ![]()

Think it’s time to start afresh ![]()
How dare you… Such a welcoming and friendly thread as well ![]()
Seriously, I’m not sure why a new thread was needed, amend the title obviously, but the merits of multiple threads over the years escapes me.
If the thread was limited to music released in that year, maybe, but it isn’t.
The history behind closing threads down at a month or year end was due to the high volume of screenshots in most of the music threads which at one time was placing the Roon Forum servers under some strain.
I don’t know if this is still the case but the last time I questioned the need I was told to just carry on the way we were.
We get 2 years (as we are special people) and it’s a relatively low volume thread. My message to @AceRimmer was jokie as I was actually expecting a new thread in truth.
I remember the forums melting down before they instigated this and there were real performance issues

Don’t suppose anyone going to post some Metal in here anytime soon ![]()
Are there any (more than a few) Matal albums from 2025? ![]()
According to Loud Wire there were approximately 15 official Metal releases last Friday.
I should have added good to that sentence I guess ![]()
Currently enjoying this one posted by @Edvardsen earlier.
Much to the annoyance of my wife I must say ![]()
