Hi Iam just about to migrate my roon core to another server. I have been running it on my QNAP NAS and all my music is located on the NAS. My new server will be a seperate PC just to run Roon and will still connect to the NAS for the music.
What I want to know is whats the best way to migrate? I have been doing regulalr backups of the current database so I presume I can use these. As the path to the music will know be different due to it being over the network how will this work. Wil I have to setup my music folder first and then restore or restore first and then add the folders. Either way I assume it will have to scrape all the music again? Will it keep all my volume leveling when restored?
