Hi there!
It would be nice to get my favorit station included to my new subscription. One week left to decide, till now everything running smooth and nicely.
The Radio I’m missing is Austrian station oe1.orf.at. I guess all other things I can handle myself!
Thank You!
All ORF stations are already there.
In Live Radio, select Locations/Austria, select also More on the top right and you see all Austrian stations available in Roon.
It’s there:
Try searching (top right magnifying glass and hit return) for
Österreichischer Rundfunk: ORF Ö1
Edit @SloMo 's option is good too.
Search didnt find it, but knowing, it IS there made me finally find it! (not so smooth and nicely)
Thank You all!!
Strange as it works for me.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy your next week of listening.
search finds only 50% of stations showen in the list. ![]()
Here it finds 6 ORF-stations, but exactly not those two. That search is just a search by chance.
I have two multiboot win11, both with Roon now, one system got that radio but not the other. I had to transfer whole folder ‘Server’ to get OE1 on the other win version.
Hmm, I know radio search is sometimes problematic, but that seems wrong.
Before we just accept it anyway and move on, can you confirm that you used the following method? (There are two magnifying glasses on the page)
Top right Search field is, as I guess, global file search, (it finds no radio stations there at all) underneath is just the ‘Filter’ for all showen results. The results I only get by clicking the World-symbol (Local station radius) and/or choosing a language. (My Roon-version is 2.56)
The top right search initially returns a subset of results whilst staying on the current page. Hit the Enter key, and a comprehensive search results page is shown. Scroll down to Live Radio, and the station should be there.
The top right search never returns radio stations in the drop-down list.
A known (but only to some) limitation.
I have to apologize! I always thought I’m a smart guy but in this case it took a too long way through this riddle. In the end, with your kindly help, I learned to understand. But a bit tricky it is!
Thank You all!
