Not sure where this should be posted, but it might be something to add to the ROCK installation, and user guide and pinned somewhere for ready access. This made moving my ROCK to a new network a breeze Once I found these instructions.
Connect the Nucleus or ROCK to a monitor or TV via HDMI.
Connect a USB keyboard to the Nucleus.
Press ENTER.
Type resetnetwork.
Press ENTER.
It is detailed in the help centre, e.g., a search readily finds the article. Nonetheless, I have moved this to Feedback, which is reviewed by Roon staff.
I don’t think this belongs in the installation guide since installing ROCK wipes everything on the device, i.e., the network settings are reset.
This only helps after setting a static IP (and then forgetting about it and not being able to connect to the ROCK), which shouldn’t normally be done at all. If DHCP is used for IP configuration, which is the default and normally the better approach, this isn’t necessary.
