Decoding and rendering of MQA in Roon so we don’t need to buy new DAC.
That isn’t going to happen from a licencing perspective. The final unfolding is also dependant on the DAC itself with filters specific to that DAC.

You will need to read up on how MQA works. The DAC is an important part of the analog to analog chain and has to be MQA aware.
MQA will play on your normal DAC but an MQA DAC will reap the best rewards. The analog chain after the DAC will influence things also.
