I’ve been listening to the Masters thru Roon and the complete hardware decode is much better than Tidal software decode.
That shouldn’t surprise anyone.
On the contrary, it is actually surprising to some here…as well as a direct contradiction of the claims referenced and linked to many times here,… that in essence, the 1st Stage of MQA Unfold to up to 24/96 will produce all that there might be to gain from MQA…and that any benefits gained from the 2nd and 3rd stage unfolds are worthless
So I wouldn’t necessarily discourage anyone from posting their own listening experiences…as opposed to the claims posted here and elsewhere
