Knowledge base include this as “Roon ready” but not for MQA and DSD files. Oppo web site says it can play these. Have purchased but not installed the 205.
That the OPPO UDP-205 plays MQA and DSD and supports Roon RAAT does not mean that those capabilities go hand in hand. They do not; they are exclusive of one another.

So if I have the OPPO play an MQA/DSD file directly it will work, but if I “go through” the Roon core it won’t?
The Oppo will play dsd through Roon and the usb dac input. Check out the OWNER’S manual.
