I have two iPhones with ARC connected to my account. After a fresh setup, both work in parallel for some days. Then one of them fails with a connection error. Is there a limitation of how many ARC devices can run in parallel?
There is no actual license limits to how many. It would most likely be decided by available bandwidth, server CPU power etc as to how many can successfully run.
If you feel those are not an issue you might want to consider opening a technical support request as Roon do not routinely monitor this section.
I have a Tidal license running on my server. Maybe Tidal limitations kick in here. Just trying to gather thoughts before I open a ticket.
I did a quick Google and I did not see any Tidal or Qobuz limitations either but thats Ai for you, it can and does make mistakes…lol.

Not sure, but, with ARC, if you are playing a Tidal track then it goes straight from Tidal to your phone on ARC, it does not pass through your home server. So, it maybe that Tidal is getting confused and limiting simultaneous streams from what it sees as different devices.
I’ve run ARC on multiple devices with only 1 server, but, I’ve never switched between devices that quickly and I don’t use Tidal I use Qobuz; but, I’ve not had an issue.
