Music on external hard drive or from another computer

Hell
i’m a newbie . After installing Roon Server on a laptop, it scan all my files from Tidal and Qobuz but its impossible to scan my music files from another computer or a external hard drive plug in a rotor.
How can I do that please ? Roon Bridge ? and where ?

For network attached files you need to share the folder.

So you’ve got an external drive plugged into your router to use it as a NAS? Have you read this article in the KB?

Does the router require a username and password to be set up in Roon to access the storage?
