I have instances where I am streaming from Tidal through Roon on my laptop and the music drops and nothing but white noise static plays. Hooked via USB to my Qudelix-5K DAC and to my amplifier. I can close Roon and reopen and it works fine for a while. I can also unplug my USB connection and replug and then it will work. I am running current Roon Server Version 2.50(Build 1528) and same on my laptop. Any suggestions?
Can you use the DAC with a different player and does the problem not happen then?

Yes. I never had this happen when I had this DAC in my main system. This is my office setup, and I have a feeling it has something to do with the USB interface on the laptop, but not sure where to start.
If it’s the USB interface and not Roon as such, checking if the error occurs on the same machine with different software would be interesting.
