Hi, I’ve asked for help about this issue before but wasn’t sure how to do it. I have an external SSD connected to a SimplyNUC that stores my music files. I can add or delete files through Windows Explorer but syncing software gets access denied errors, no matter what software I try.
The Music folder on the external drive shows as read only under properties and if I go advanced, I can give full permission to all users but can’t change the setting to “Folder, subfolders and files”. I click on that and everything stays the same with no error messages. Most tutorials mention that you have to add a user or workgroup but I don’t know what exactly that is or how to do it.
Oh, btw as people have asked me before, the external drive is formatted as exFAT.
