Need some help/direction on backups - e.g. does it include Tidal?

Hello,

Now that I’ve transferred over from Apple Music to Tidal (and gone through and manually added things that were missing) - I want to ensure I have a backup, so if something goes wrong, I get back to a clean state.

When I do backups from Roon, will they include Tidal tracks/playlists/albums etc? (I understand its not the music, but a record/uuid to the track itself)?

If I were to open a new Roon account or Tidal account, on doing a backup would it be able to restore to my new Roon/Tidal account?

Any other backup strategies/pointers?

A little bedtime reading

Obviously you need a strategy as well for the audio files , Roon BU is ONLY it’s own database

Thanks - I took a read of.

So it looks like it won’t do any Tidal related backups - unless I recreate all Roon playlists then copy all the contents over.

The only con of that I see, is I wanted to shift them all to say Apple Music, I see no way to export them all - it seems 1 by 1 - then I’d need to upload to something like Soundiiz.

All Tidal favorites, Tidal playlists, etc. is stored in Tidal anyway, and they should automatically sync back
