Very interested in this…I f I buy the latest Nucleus (when it is available) I think it is connected to a router via Ethernet. I have the core on my imac,and on my android phone along with Roon Arc. I f I get the Nucleus, does this mean I will no longer need to have my IMac “on” to use Roon and Roon Arc?
Yes. But, you can use any computer dedicated to the task of running RoonServer to achieve the same. For example, you could get a mac mini load RoonServer and let it sit in the corner always on, for example.
But, if you need to purchase something, I would go with the Roon Nucleus One for $500.
