Spent a few hours making a pi4 boot sd. Made 16gb card with Etcher. Nothing happens after powering the raspberry.
Does the sd-card need to be made bootable??

If you have the appropriate image and follow the comprehensive beginners guide from the page I just linked, you should be all set.
