Idagio has limited Booklet coverage , notably on newer releases , I am to soon to see how comprehensive that is.
In the dark old days (pre Roon) I listened with an iPad Mini permanently tuned to Wikipedia , Roon just makes it easier.
The info is there is you want it , you may have to “work” for it, booklets are another thing

Imho it would not only be a great thing for lovers of classical music, but also for ROON itself, if they cooperated with Idagio.

I was thinking of looking into cryogenics and asking them to wake me up when Spotify HiFi comes out as I don’t think I will live long enough otherwise to see it.

Again never going to happen, been discussed to death already. They will only sanction it on Apple hardware and not using Roons playback engine so no DSP or bit perfect plus their DRM BS.
They mentioned new streaming services coming in 2023 and they’ve only released one so far. So that’s why asking for any updates makes sense. We are due for at least one more this year.
Seems we can rule out the big ones. No mention of Amazon. Deezer said to have stopped working with others. Apple willing to work with roon but only allowed on Apple products. Spotify doesn’t seem to work with anyone. Rumor has it that their new hires 24 bit Supremium tier is supposed to come out this month. But Spotify release schedule is unreliable. Hopefully Tidal will provide update to allow true hires thru roon, Tidal Connect and others shortly.
Searching the forum instead of chanting would probably find you the official answer, i.e. that Apple would put so many restrictions on it that it wouldn’t be Roon anymore, and so is not going to happen as long as this doesn’t change
I feel KKBox is it, can’t see what else can be added that’s of any worth and would have the resources to work the Roon way.

I was just joking/provoking to the request of Spotify news. Hence my smiling emoticon.
The thing about Apple is they were at least willing to work with roon. And the restrictions were mentioned almost a year ago. We have no idea if any progress was made. Roon usually doesn’t talk upcoming features. So while unlikely, it is possible that roon and Apple can work things out.
Of the big names, nobody mentions Amazon Music UHD here.
They already allow bit perfect hi-res via 3rd party, like on Bluesound’s BluOS…
Just needs one more step, full data dump to Roon, and it is a done deal.
Amazon Music has the worst radio and suggestions of the big names, so Roon would be an upgrade for them

Hello. My speculation is Presto Music on Roon in 2024. Great for Classical and Jazz Music fans.
They already said they had talks and it wasn’t going anywhere.
Their APi is pretty bad too, just look at any of the integrations and it’s poor selection of options you get. Tried it on Bluos, Heos and the Wiim. Not much better than their app. They only seem to be interested in getting people to use their app and have Alexacast built in, which is why you only see that on Wiim currently as they added Alexa.
What was the date of this last update from Roon ? Quite a long time ago
Fully aware of the awful UI on BluOS - I was trying to hint it is not Bluesounds fault , it is due to API limitation
If Amazon wanted they could do something extra for Roon.
I’ve been a beta tester for the AlexaCast with Wiim Mini - pretty much a world first.
With BluOS even though UI is crap , the fact that the playback has been bit perfect for years, is still something.
Potential is there. If Amazon just decided to pull their finger out
Even AlexaCast has some very annoying limitations that Amazon have been made aware for 12+ months
Number of Wiim devices using this might not be that high
