I have an extensive SONOS system but wanted to have a second system in hand and am happy with Roon. Put together an Intel NUC i5 with 8GM memory and 250GB SATA m2 drive and loaded with ROCK - few hiccups along the way but searched the community here for answers and quickly figured things out. Pointed it to my 20,000 plus FLAC files and 20,000 plus legacy mp3s and everything works seamlessly. Don’t run it with SONOS - have had problems with SONOS in the past year and now that things are running smoothly don’t want to risk it. Have a variety of endpoints - chromecast and airplay based and couldn’t be happier. Roon ROCKs.
