Microsoft Launches Native Class 2 USB Audio Support. Wait, What?.
About time, but now we will see all kinds of comparisons between Windows Class 2 USB and custom drivers sent with the DAC purchase (and they will likely sound exactly the same, but that won’t stop people from hearing differences)

This is huge! No more custom drivers required for most DACs.
Linux has supported the USB 2 audio spec for 15+ years. Not sure why it took Microsoft so long to get there!!
