No synced music on innuos zen and airplay devices

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)

Maschine is innuos zen mini connected to magnate RV4 amp via coax.
Newest roon build

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

Ethernet via cable and connected airport via wifi

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/ect.)

Older and newer airport express and appleTVs (3‘s) all updated

Description Of Issue

Core is running on innuos zen mini…all airports show and play but I can only group the apple devices not the apple zones with the coreplayer (innuos zen)? What do I have to do to play synced music in all zones including the innuos?

You need RAAT devices if you want to sync with the Innuos. You can’t sync across different end point types. Meaning specifically airplay and your RAAT core.

Hi @Guido_Lux,

As DrTone mentioned above, and as mentioned in our Knowledge Base, Zones can only be grouped with other Zones of the same type.

No they all use different clocking methods so its incredibly hard to achieve. Roon only supports like for like grouping. No other software can provide even this level of multiroom sync.
