Node Nano with Roon - no DSD output via USB?

I recently purchased a BlueSound Node Nano to use with my Roon Nucleus and also the Presto Music app via Airplay.

I know the analogue outputs of the Nano don’t do DSD just PCM, but I just got a Chord Qutest and I thought I’d be able to output my DSD files via USB/DoP without PCM conversion, but I’m only getting 176.4kHz PCM. I’ve looked at the Nano’s setup options in Roon and there’re no DSD options to be seen.

I know that these new BlueSounds streamers don’t do DSD yet until there’s an update but surely DoP should work as the streamer should see it as PCM?

Nope, unless the device advertises that it supports DoP, Roon will not send DSD in any form. Same reason that you cant play DSD via BluOS at the moment either.

DSD on the Qutest will be converted to PCM by the DAC anyway even if you send it DoP as the DAC side does’t work on DSD it all has to be converted to PCM first before any D2A happens.
