Perhaps you might consider starting a âNow Playing Some World Musicâ thread? Iâm sure that it would be of interest to many of your fellow members. By the way, Rabih Abou-Khalil is an outstanding musician and I enjoy all his recordings, evn the ones that stray far from âjazzâ.

I do like Ravi. Fave would be Improvisations. He was way ahead of his time and much copied by psych, rock and jazz bands.
think his favour he got mostly because his connection to george harrison
Indeed. Theres the album he did live with George isnât there from around 73.
Theres also a wonderful sitar compilation called Electric Psychedelic Sitar Headswirlers.
Thats got some wonderfully tripped out music on it.
Highly recommended.
