I’m obsessed with the first ~20 seconds of this. This is soul music in it’s purest and finest form - just the emotion and tone in this opening alone almost tells me a complete story.
Kudos to Salaam Remi for the great arrangement/production.

Super talented may be the understatement of the year. I had never heard of her @dabassgoesboomboom.
Went to listen to Diversity and thought “how cute, she’s using a picture of herself when she was a kid”. She fricking composed every song and played piano on the album, at age 11!
