Hello Campus Radio changed the way it broadcast. It is now on this url:

Hmm, their website doesn’t play for me; they use a DASH stream now which is not working. Checked with VLC too.
I’ve tried to find alternatives but they all fail too.
VPNing to NL makes no difference.
Does it work for you?
It’s a weird station. Since september first they stopped playing non stop and only have operating hours in which they play music. These are the times they broadcast:
Monday
18:00 - 21:00 - Joris Kingma
Tuesday
15:00 - 18:00 - Dylano van Beek
18:00 - 21:00 - Tygo Gauw-Rozeboom
Wednesday
12:00 - 15:00 - Anne Rance
15:00 - 18:00 - Antje Appelman
Thursday
12:00 - 15:00 - Jasper Leegwater
15:00 - 18:00 - Sanna van der Hoeven
18:00 - 21:00 - Marijn van Ginkel
Friday
10:00 - 12:00 - Mattijs Franken
12:00 - 15:00 - Sanna van der Hoeven
So only on those time slots you will hear anything.
But the stream on their site works. I can start playing (with no sound atm).
Not for me.
It shows the play icon, but internally it is continually trying the new DASH stream and failing.

But there is no sound. Tomorrow between 10 and 15 they broadcast and then I can check if there is sound.

Analysing further, Roon (and other players) are going to have problems - the site issues a POST request to get the DASH stream with a token. Without that token, the stream will not play.
Anyway, I’ll check tomorrow when you say there should be sound.
FYI - The website link provided has just worked for me in the UK - I don’t have a Roon solution though, sorry.
At this moment they are broadcasting, so you can test it until 15.00 or so today.
Ok, website plays.
The URL returned from the POST request has a token which changes slightly each time. I don’t know how long the token is valid for but older ones are still working for me.
However - Roon won’t play the resulting .mpd (DASH) stream.
DASH in itself shouldn’t be a problem, but the setup info in the .mpd file seems to be tripping Roon up.
I’ll inform the devs about that, but the issue of the token still remains.
Ok. Is there something I could send this station what they can change to make it work (easier).
The .mpd format issue may take a while to fix and that’s ignoring the POST problem. In the meantime if the station could resurrect its old mp3 stream all would be well though quality may suffer.
At the moment all other sites still have the non-working .mp3 stream
