Helping a friend build a ROCK, using a NUC NUC13ANHi7. I looked on Intel’s page for the bios update, and could not find one. Does this mean the NUC’s bios is already at latest version? Any insights?

Irrespective of what Roon’s ROCK install instructions say, you will not need to update the BIOS on a NUC13ANHi7.
These instructions were created a long time ago when there were still a few NUCs around that had a problematic BIOS.
Just make sure that the BIOS settings are set to UEFI boot (almost certainly the default state on your NUC) and you should be good to go.
Incidentally, the NUC13ANHi7 is supported hardware and so this does not qualify as Tinkering

In addition, Intel sold the NUC brand to Asus, so NUC stuff like BIOS downloads is now on the Asus site.
