I am considering buying a Nucleus One to replace a mac mini feeding into an Audiolab M-DAC+.
I considered a Cambridge Audio streamer but discovered that it doesn’t also function as an Roon Servo and I want to retire my Mac Mini.
Does the Nucleus one operate as both a streamer and a Roon Server?
I have subscriptions to Roon and Qobuz.

Yes the Nucleus One is a Roon server (core). It can stream to other devices over the network, e.g., Roon Ready ones, and you can attach a DAC by USB or HDMI to the Nucleus One as well,

As far as I know, the info here and the following discussion is the best we know:
Why retire the Mac mini it will serve exactly the same function as the Nucleus One. Both act as core both can act as a streamer connected via USB to a dac, both will serve to other devices over the network. Unless your mini is really old why bother changing?
