At the request of support in another thread , I’d like to try connecting what appears to be a dead Nucleus to one of my two Macs - using the famed Nucleus HDMI port.
Both my 15" MacBook Pro and my iMac Pro have Thunderbolt 3.
I’ve not done this before - but which cable and/or converter should I buy to allow me to use, say, the MacBook’s screen as a ‘Monitor’ to see what’s going on with my poor (will no longer switch on) Nucleus, please?
TIA…!

A MacBook may have an HDMI output but not an input in any, way, shape, or form. It does not function as a monitor.

Thanks, Andrew. I feared as much. I guess the same is true of an iMac Pro, isn’t it?
In effect, then, I have no way to view the (‘dead’?) Nucleus’s diagnostic output from its HDMI port, have I?

No worries, you can use a TV screen for it. Something I hope will be helpful from Intel:

Couldn’t you bring the Nucleus to the TV along with a keyboard?

Actually, on reflection (no pun), it’d be easier to buy a dedicated monitor.
Would you (or anyone else) recommend one of these , please?
