Nucleus + USB Digital Out; MQA Capabilities

Roon will configure itself by default to a good setting. You only need to change the MQA setting if you want to override the default for some reason.

See the MQA Capabilities article here.. Let us know if you have a particular query after reading it.

Edit: The option selected in your screenshot is “No MQA Support”. This is referring to the Oppo, not the Nucleus. See this post by John of Roon Labs:

Hello @Parkmad, Since the OPPO UDP-205 does not do MQA Decoding or Rendering via it’s Roon Ready input, it is best to leave the “MQA Capabilities” setting to “No MQA Capabilities” and let Roon’s Core Decoder unfold your content so you receive the high resolution decoded stream to your device. Otherwise, the OPPO will just be receiving the 44.1/48 kHz undecoded FLAC stream which it will not perform any unfolding on. -John
