I have a couple of nugs purchases and these are available within their app to play without the need of an active subscription.
With Roon, I logged in but need an active subscription to access these purchases.
Seems a bit off.

Pointed out by someone else, this is the same as Qobuz within Roon.
True, but nugs purchases are different.
After a certain time limit you can no longer download nugs purchases and use outside of their app.
Without an active nugs subscription you can still play these purchases. You only need an active sub to offline them within the nugs app.
This is one of the reasons I do not use nugs.

Also, nugs within Roon does not give video playback but to sub it’s still the same cost.
Would be nice to see a discounted tier option for audio only. Maybe that’s one to direct at nugs.
