Hello together
My biggest luxury challenge currently is that I want to replace my NAS. However, I have a large storage pool with Microsoft Onedrive, which I would like to use.
I know that currently only Dropbox is supported as cloud/xAS storage by Roon Nucleus.
My specific question is, are there any future plans to be able to use OneDrive as well? Or can I buy another NAS toy? And if anyone has any advice on how to explain this to my wife, I would be very grateful:-))))))
Many thanks for your feedback.
You can already take advantage of OneDrive by setting up a Backup location that is a folder within a OneDrive hierarchy on your PC.
OneDrive will sync the contents of the folder to the OneDrive cloud.
Thank you Geoff
Sorry I was imprecise. I would like to have my music collection online on onedrive. I don’t want to synchronize via a PC or a Nas. Roon Nucleus should link the Onedrive online directly itself and play the music directly from the cloud…
Then please post this as a Feature suggestion in the Feature Suggestions category of the forum. All posts there are read by the Roon Labs team. Thanks.
IIRC this is only as a Roon DB backup location, not for music storage.
PS I’ve amended the topic’s subject and moved into over to Feature Suggestions
OneDrive Support (for online music storage, no local syncing)
Many thanks guys for your support. Will do it…BRR.
