Oppo 203 as endpoint without video

I want to use the Oppo 203 as an audio only endpoint using optical output to my receiver and display Roon though my projector via Chromecast. I like Roon’s display with lyrics better than the plain blue screen of the 203. Has anyone done this? I’m asking first because it’s a major pain to pull my audio rack out just to find it won’t work. I’ll use the receiver to select HDMI of Chromecast and optical input from the 203.

Well, I feel silly. I already had this setup and working at one time and forgot. I had to change the audio input to digital on my receiver. See what you have to look forward to when you get older.
