My wife, now retired, was a preschool teacher and director for 32 years. The most recent song (earwig) I heard about was Baby Shark - you should have seen the look on her face when they started chanting it during the MLB playoffs!
As an aside, as a ~5 year old I remember being sent outside with a kitchen timer to make that sound I was making for 30 mins. continuously. Boy I didn’t want to make that sound again!
