Orbi Satellite: Do I need a switch to use wired Ethernet to DAC?

I currently use my Mac Mini for my Roon Core. I want to use the wired ethernet input on my DAC.

Can I plug the Mac into the Orbi satellite and the Dac also into the satellite, or will I need a switch?

If it has two ethernet ports then yes. It is effectively a switch.

Mac connected to the Orbi base and your DAC to the satellite which only has one Ethernet port.

Or just connect your Mac to the Satellite via Wi-Fi.
