OS in dual boot dedicated exclusively to Roon server as endpoint?

Currently I have Roon server as an endpoint on a PC with Windows 10. I was wondering if it might have any advantage to dual boot a lightweight Linux distro to be dedicated exclusively to Roon server.

Why Roon Server? Are you using it for control?

In my laptop there is the usb dac and Roon server. I control it via remote applications. My laptop is placed in a location in my library which makes it awkward to use directly so I preferred Roon server.

OK. The reason I ask is Server is more than you need if all you want is an endpoint. Roon Bridge will work and be less hassle. Dual boot is possible, potentially with a USB drive with lightweight OS and Roon Bridge. It will be a bit of work but might prove worthwhile.
