Output Nucleus One to DAC

Output Nucleus One to DAC. I am considering moving my Roon server from a iMac to a Nucleus One. I am using a Ferrum WANDLA DAC as a hub for the various audio sources. The WANDLA has one USB C input. I use that one for my iMac. How do I connect the Nucleus One to my DAC as the USB C remains used by the iMac. There is no second USB C input and I have bad experiences with separate USB Switches. Is the HDMI ARC an options or Coax. Any guidance?

I connect a Nucleus One via HDMI out to a Denon A1H AVR. You could do the same. The HDMI path also gives multichannel support in my use case but that would not apply to the WANDLA.

No. Paul indicated HDMI ARC. That will not work.

Ahhh, yes, just checked the WANDLA back panel… I assumed there were more than one HDMI input.

I’m in a similar situation in one system. I’m using this adapter to connect my Mac to the TOSLINK S/PDIF (Optical) input on my DAC:

I then connect Roon (a Raspberry Pi 4 in my case) to the USB input.

I suggest using the USB input for Roon, but feel free to experiment.
